Where is marigold find cedric
But even with that, they were slow and had to stop for the sorceress to relieve herself. Eventually they arrived at a fort at the foot of a bridge. This however proved unhelpful, as the settlement had been attacked by elven commandos of Scoia'tael the night previous.
Triss was laid down with the other wounded while Geralt went to find out what their options were. He learned about the attack and the planned retaliation, however he knew they had none who could cure Triss. What was worse, the men started to think that Triss may have some infection that could spread, even though Geralt told them that mages cannot have an infection due to their immunity, and that it had to be a case of food poisoning, they did not want her there.
Thus the trio was forced to go on. Fortunately, Geralt learned about a convoy that went the same way as they need to so they rode to them. There they discovered that in the convoy was an old friend, the dwarf Yarpen Zigrin , leading his company of dwarves. Geralt persuaded Yarpen and Vilfrid Wenck , who was in charge of the convoy, to allow the trio to join them. Triss was laid to one of the wagons but her state was still very severe.
She was no longer able to relieve herself on her own and Geralt had to carry her into the woods. They continued on the way towards the Lixela , and Triss started to feel better, but she was still very weak thus Geralt and Ciri had to help her with bathing and clothing.
As a matter of fact, despite her state, Triss rather enjoyed Geralt holding her so tightly and caring for her. Sometime later the convoy was approached by soldiers from Kaedwen. Those soldiers warned the men that Scoia'tael were near so they should continue very carefully. Not long after that, the elves indeed attacked the convoy. Triss was thrown out of the wagon and suffered a nasty wound to her head. The attack was swift but the defenders managed to repel it. By that time, Triss was well enough to be able to take care of the wounded and help them with her magic.
The rest of the journey was without any incident and they successfully arrived in the temple. Triss then went on her own giving her farewells to both Ciri and Geralt. At the evening banquet, she spoke with the brothers Drithelm and Detmold and then Geralt before Yennefer interrupted them.
During the night, she joined the Northern supporters in arresting the Nilfgaardian-allied traitors, and was quite annoyed and surprised when she found Lydia van Bredevoort 's corpse, due to the agreement of no-bloodshed.
When Geralt passed the group, she helped him stand due to him being lightheaded, and then ran off to find Drithelm, Carduin and Dorregaray , to bring them to Garstang on Philippa Eilhart 's orders. Triss is a major character in The Witcher computer game. She is one of the first people Geralt meets after being found unconscious in the woods by his fellow witchers. She is also the one to nurse Geralt back to health after his first battle with Azar Javed in the Swamp.
Once Geralt regains consciousness, he finds himself in the bedroom of her luxurious Trade Quarter home , and he sees her talking presumably to another sorceress.
She diligently "checks him for internal injuries". For the main article, see The Witcher romance. During the prologue, after dealing with the Salamandra invasion of Kaer Morhen, Triss is gravely wounded and needs a special potion which Geralt must brew to help her recover.
If not rushed during the dialogue, after drinking the potion, she offers Geralt his first sexual encounter of the game. If it was Triss and not Shani who was chosen to take care of Alvin the second romance option becomes available if she is given a ruby ring, and in regards to Alvin, Geralt must be strict at least once. Triss plays a major role throughout the story.
She first appears in the prologue as Geralt's lover; her feelings for him have evidently remained unchanged. Triss assists Geralt and Foltest in taking La Valette castle. She gets separated from them when a dragon attacks Foltest's forces. After Geralt is imprisoned for Foltest's murder, she meets up with him and Vernon Roche before they set sail for Flotsam , having lost her position as advisor after Foltest's death.
She helps Geralt prepare to fight a kayran by introducing him to Cedric , finding the Kayran's lair , and helping him create a potion to allow Geralt to resist the beast's poison. Shortly after, Letho abducts Triss and forces her to teleport them to Vergen. In Vergen, Triss gets away from Letho and tries to make contact with Philippa. She finds Philippa's room, but comes upon Philippa's apprentice, Cynthia , there instead.
Cynthia, a Nilfgaardian spy, captures Triss using Artefact compression , and smuggles Triss across the mist of wraiths, where Triss eventually makes it into the hands of Nilfgaard's ambassador, Shilard Fitz-Oesterlen. Before Geralt can rescue her, Shilard takes his ship to Loc Muinne. Triss is restrained and interrogated for more information of the Lodge.
If Geralt chooses not to save her, in favor of helping Roche or Iorveth, a massacre erupts in Loc Muinne, with opposing forces fighting not only one another, but also mages after Nilfgaard revealed the Lodge's involvement with the Northern regicides.
In the chaos, Letho saves Triss from the Nilfgaardian camp, and takes her to the now abandoned Temerian camp and protects her until Geralt arrives after fighting the dragon. Once Geralt reaches the camp, Triss steps away, while the two witchers talk. If Geralt chooses to rescue Triss, he breaks into the Nifgaard camp and eventually finds her restrained and asks her about the Lodge and their influence behind the Demavend and Foltest's murders. Triss and Geralt are separated again when Geralt goes to fight the dragon, and they meet up shortly afterwards, where Triss tells Geralt that Letho is waiting for him.
On their way to Letho, Triss explains that mages helped prevent further bloodshed in the city. For the main article, see The Witcher 2 romance. Triss is the default romance option - the game begins with her and Geralt already in a relationship.
One of three opening scenes of Geralt's story during the prologue shows him getting up as Triss lies naked beside him as a messenger soldier enters their tent to summon the witcher to the King Foltest's side.
The first real opportunity arises near the end of Chapter I during the quest The Rose of Remembrance. When given the option to go to the elven baths , Geralt can choose to take the sorceress along with him. After a battle partway through the quest, the ground under their feet collapses, sending the two plummeting into ancient elven baths. Noting that an immediate escape is impossible, the two can take advantage of their location. Selecting the correct conversation options will initiate a cutscene, in which Triss completely takes off her clothes with magic and jumps into the water.
Our Witcher soon joins her in the bath. After the lovers enjoyed one another well enough, Triss comments this short time of bliss in such a manner: "We should take walks more often. For a while there, I forgot all about Flotsam, the Scoia'tael , the kingslayer, the whole world really Triss returns in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as the leader of the mage underground due to the witch hunt begun by Radovid V.
Her appearance did not change much but interactions with Yennefer prove quite interesting. There is also a free DLC which gives Triss an alternative outfit. After the events at Loc Muinne Triss and Geralt who had now regained his memory separated. Triss decided to go to Novigrad, which many mages believed to be a safe haven, and set up a shop in the city center. The Eternal Fire religion in the city, however, declared all mages to be witches and traitors and began arresting and murdering them.
Geralt, upon arriving at the city, found Triss with the King of Beggars and assisted her ridding a rat infested mill. In this fight, you'll be going up against a few guards and a sorcerer. You'll be helped by your two friends. They can keep the guards mostly occupied while you focus on the sorcerer, who will take a few hits from your sword before throwing up a shield and teleporting to a new location.
When he reappears, he'll wait for a moment and then send a fiery blast your direction. You can step or roll to the side if you see it coming, then move in close and hit him with a few more slashes of the sword before the process repeats. Finally, you should take out the sorcerer and the other guards. You'll have the opportunity to explore the Nilfgaardian camp if you like make sure that you do so if you want to pick up the Armor of Loc Muinne that a soldier has likely left lying on the ground , then it's time to head elsewhere.
If you didn't spare Prince Stennis back in Vergen, you can talk Roche into helping you out of the camp. Just play along and pretend to be his prisoner and you'll get through just fine. Otherwise, now is your opportunity to get some blood from King Henselt before you depart. Again, we'll rely on Vernon Roche for assistance.
To sneak into the camp and meet with King Henselt, start forward along the path behind Roche and when you can, move right and duck behind some barrels as Roche talks to the nearest guards. When he leads them down the path you followed to reach your hiding place, you can then head to the right along the tents.
There are soldiers on the opposite side of those tents, so be careful. When you get near the king's tent, you'll notice two men guarding it. Continue along the side of the tents where you're already positioned and you'll come to a pile of barrels. Get near and a button prompt appears on-screen. You can use magic on the barrels, then run back left. Wait for the guards to go investigate the source of the noise, then sneak into the tent they were guarding for a scene with the king.
He'll give up his blood and have his men lead you outside the camp without the need for additional sneaking around on your part. The Royal Blood quest will now be marked complete.
When you reach the edge of camp, whether with King Henselt's blood or without, it's time to pass through the mist again and return to Vergen. Walk straight forward, then descend along a road leading into a ravine and pass through the mist.
As usual, Philippa will appear at that point in owl form to assist as you work your way back across the mist-covered battlefield. Also as usual, you'll have to hack apart wraiths that try to block the owl's progress. Once you make your triumphant return to Vergen, go to see Philippa in her house again. When you do, a scene follows and this quest is finally complete.
However, you'll have the chance to revisit it in the final chapter. When you arrive in chapter three, whether you are allied with Iorveth or Vernon Roche, you'll eventually face a choice about how you want to proceed through the chapter.
You'll have two choices in either event, and there's one quest that is in common: this one. Putting your own needs ahead of those of the free world, you decide to look for Triss Merigold. You find Shilard Fitz-Oesterlen as he is talking to his guards. When you do, you take him hostage and lead him toward the Nilfgaardian camp.
As you arrive at the camp, you'll be greeted by a group of soldiers. Their leader kills your hostage, then tells his men to kill you before leaving. You'll have to battle several soldiers here, including a few with shields.
Pick off the weak ones first and keep them from surrounding you by rolling out of the way or by using magic. When the weaker fellows are down, you're good to tend to the tougher ones with shields.
You want to approach them carefully and hit them from the flanks if possible. After clearing away the soldiers, you'll find a locked gate. Head left through the tents to reach a ladder, then climb to the roof and run along it. You can drop down from there and head through a new opening to find more soldiers. Make your way along that route, taking care of any resistance before it has a chance to mount a proper attack. Your progress will be saved and then you'll enter a large square, where you must kill a slew more soldiers and then their leader.
You know how to fight by now, so use the same strategies that have carried you to this point in the game. Then you'll have a chat with Aep Matsen before you face another round of soldiers. This time, Matsen joins them. This fight is more difficult than the previous one. Matsen will hang back at first, but you must deal with a bunch of soldiers and a sorcerer who hurls powerful fire magic at you throughout the fight.
You can move in quickly and get in a hit or two, but then the sorcerer will throw up shields and temporarily make himself invulnerable. When that happens, fight some soldiers but keep an eye out for the sorcerer.
You want to hit him again when he is vulnerable, as the sooner you get rid of him the better the fight will tend to go. Kill the sorcerer, any straggler guards and finally Matsen himself. Then check his corpse for the key that you need to free Triss. Now head down some stairs at the side of the area and open the cell. Inside, you'll finally meet with Triss and at long last.
Talk to her about the stuff you learned in your discussion with Matsen. When that conversation concludes, you'll need to lead Triss back toward the market square. You have an extra key now, so you can take a shortcut through the huge locked doors. Finally on the other side, he finds Vernon Roche and his men cleaning up after a Nilfgaardian ambush.
They decide that Geralt must get to Nilfgaardian camp. Vernon then says he'll meet the witcher there and tells him that there are two ways to get there:.
Note : Approaching the prostitutes and talking to Madame Carole saves a rather sneaky adventure through the camp to get to the caves, but it is rather costly a bribe of a minimum of orens. Or you can search for the small path leading to the coast.
When entering the camp pass the canteen , head straight ahead through the alley of tents until you can turn left to the path alongside the palisade. Continue until you reach an entrance notice the Autosave just before the spot where 5 guards will enter.
Wait for them to pass, then continue straight ahead along the palisade beware the peeing soldier. Continue on until you see the cook the trickiest part , run in and rapidly begin clicking on him to fill a meter which will cast the Axii sign on him, or kill him by throwing a poisoned harpy claw. Do not try to remotely cast Axii, it will not work and will alert the guards, you must run up to him and fill the meter.
Continue along the palisade to the right and continue to the 2nd entrance, where another 5 soldiers may be encountered. Go through this door, then walk down to the shore and into the cave, avoiding the soldier to the right. In either case the cave is the same - a few Rotfiends and a Bullvore along the way. You should also kill the golem at the end of the cave. He is on the right side across a small gap which separates his area from the main part of the cave. Jump over it to fight him. Beware, the golem is not to be underestimated; the room holds some nice loot.
After exiting the cave you will be brought into a tent and after a short flashback and some news about Triss, sentenced to death. Vernon Roche and Ves will come to your aid at the last possible moment. Fight the remaining forces by firstly focusing on the mage, Vanhemar. He will protect himself by repeatedly casting Quen and teleporting away, but is also able to use the other signs as well.
Once all enemies are defeated there will be 2 possibilities what happen next, depending on your choices in Royal Blood:. Return to Philippa and pass through the mist with her again you know the drill. Back in Vergen, talk to Philippa in her house. She will tell you that Cynthia escaped, but left the rose of remembrance behind. Philippa can now cast the spell to resurrect the sleeping beauty.
XP - the story continues with Vergen Besieged.
