Why aquaman is better than batman

They've become the go-to characters when people think of superheroes around the world, which is why they've received so many adaptations over the years, and quite of a few of those have been stellar. For Superman, the widely-accepted definitive version is Christopher Reeve's Superman. And while Ben Affleck's version of Batman has been certainly praised, his portrayal was obviously scrutinized and compared to what people consider were "better" and "more accurate" versions of the character; unfortunately, the same thing applied to Henry Cavill's Superman as well.

And therein lies the problem. It's natural for people to compare things to the past, but when there's nothing to compare a movie with, then that project can stand on its own. For Batman and Superman, that simply wasn't an option. As previously mentioned, Reeves' Superman is still, by and large, considered the definitive version of the Last Son of Krypton.

It touched upon aspects that weren't explored on film before. Tony has built custom suits for battle in outer space, under molten lava, and yes, for subaquatic encounters. Sure, King Arthur could use a little magic or maybe position some electric eels to try and short-circuit Iron Man, but Tony would anticipate it all and have countermeasures built in the lab way in advance.

Everybody who knows the story of Peter Parker always wants him to win. Unfortunately, we can't expected him to come out the winner against Aquaman. Doctor Doom is hardly a pushover. Between his almost unmatched scientific genius and his mastery of several mystic arts, this brilliant mind is almost unstoppable when paired up with his relentless ruthlessness.

Chalk this one up to the vainglorious ruler of Latveria. In terms of raw power, perhaps they come close, but the half-Atlantean probably edges him out. If they meet in the water, there's no way Venom can keep up with all those sharks and kraken and such. On land, Eddie Brock and his alien partner would have a better chance, but Aquaman can employ bio-shocks, spells and yes — that mighty trident. Now we have the Prince of Asgard up against the King of Atlantis. That means his can shoot lightning into the ocean, summon waterspouts, and drive currents against even a super-swimmer like Aquaman.

When it comes to magic, Thor is a god. The energies he can summon up simply outclass Atlantean conjuring. Despite his many defeats in the MCU, the trickster god should still be taken seriously.

Loki can create illusions, disguise himself, and manipulate events, but that only takes him so far. If he took Aquaman on with an even playing field at hand, he'd run out tricks quickly. Unlike Arthur, Loki has no true combat acumen. Maybe he could fake out a bunch of fish or Atlanteans to turn on their monarch, but that would only last so long. Once the moment of truth arrives, Loki would be hopelessly outclassed by Aquaman, and hence, be just as easily dispatched as he was by Thanos.

Well, when it comes to controlling the elements, Storm probably has him beat. This is her specialty. She can drop temperatures down to sub-freezing in nothing flat, for example.

Could Aquaman swim through a nascent iceberg? Aquaman has a high level of telepathy he probed Jonn's mind without him even knowing. So he could easily use his telepathy to give him a seizure especially if he has the water hand. I have a question, in all of these battle forums where it is random encounter, wouldn't bruce have already been prepared?

That is what makes him the Batman. I'm not saying he wins here Aquaman is an underrated beast by people who pretend to know about comics. What i'm getting at is there isn't really "random" encounters for the Bat is there?

He has a back up plan for every scenario anyone can think up. Just a thought. Aquaman would make Bane look like a fool. Tell me if bats still wins. I give him credibility on his durability but speed?

He's only faster when he's swimming under the sea. With durability like his it's going to be very hard to land a knock out blow where as aquaman hits him once and its probably not far from over.

Lets not forget about his senses. The Justice League of the New 52 era was assembled in a storyline set five years in the past to fight the forces of Darkseid. One of the biggest casualties of the Imperiex War in was the city of Atlantis, with Aquaman alongside it. There, the city-state had been enslaved by the ancient Atlantean sorceress Gamemnae, and Aquaman himself was discorporated into a water wraith.

In the process, he gives us the most powerful incarnation of Aquaman to date. Crucial details were being overlooked and people who needed help were going unheeded. Rather than allow this inefficient, ineffective, but star-studded league to continue apace, Aquaman saves the team and its mission…by disbanding it.
